Social impacts of it;

I think that all social impacts have their downers in life, like some are used inappropriately, and have affected peoples life’s in ways in some cases. Social impacts have made distractions to young people in learning, they would rather look at their phones in lesson than listen to their teacher, the laziness of young ones has grown, and they would rather sit behind a computer screen than doing regular exercise like walking. Often phones have been stolen, and these are no ordinary phones, they are expensive ones, so having them encourages theft, and other crimes. As with most technologies, there is always a blend of good and bad effects on society. But for a technology to succeed, it must show an overall benefit for people.

Well, To start with what is your opinion on social impacts of facebook,

Mine is that it is good and bad, it just depends on what the person is using it for, whether its to contact family members or to cyber bully.

Facebook can be twisted in many ways, like people are using it for the wrong things, ie.. To contact children younger and ask to meet up; to bully people; basically to use it in the wrong manor.

Facebook should have an age range, even though people abuse it now, you should have to prove that your the age it says you are, or accounts should be shut if your sending types of messages that are inapropriate, or parents or carers should be aware of the things there chrildren are doing.

Comment and give your opinion....

Recipes Recipes

Hey again guys,
As I was saying earlier in one of my posts the key to a healthy living is to have a balanced diet and plan what you eat in advance. Well here are some recipes you can try out and plan in your life's to keep you healthy!

You can start With Jamie Oliver's Omelettes

One day I decided to follow this recipe and do you know what, it was the first thing I enjoyed in ages.

Statistic's

Obesity in Britain has got worse over the years and there are now more than a quarter of adults in Britain that are obese. Britain is turning into couch potatoes and is increasing obesity-related illnesses such as heart disease and cancer. It is not only adults that are affected by obesity. Research has shown that 24 per cent of children aged between two and 15 are now obese.

This is just some information I gathered to make you want to do it more, look at these poor young children.
They are following in your footsteps, and you need to change that!
Calorie intake on a daily basis;

Age
Calories per day
Boys
Girls
1–3
1,230
1,165
4–6
1,715
1,545
7–10
1,970
1,740
11–14
2,220
1,845
15–18
2,755
2,110
Adults
2,550
1,940

The amount of calories you are allowed to intake on a daily basis is

you need to have 5 meals day, 3 main ones and 2 snacks in-between.
These are the amount of calories in each cereal;
All Bran 265
Alpen 375
Bran Buds 275
Bran Fare 232
Bran Flakes 360
Cornflakes 353
Coco Pops 380
Crunchy Bran 225
Crunchy nut cornflakes 382
Frosties 360
Honey Smacks 353
Hot Bran 328
Muesli (average) 378
Oatmeal 407
Porridge Oats 405
Rice Krispies 357
Shredded Wheat 324
Special K 356
Sugar Puffs 362
Weetabix 357

It seems like a little but when you add up with the calories from other meals it will work out to be the amount of calories you eat per day. This is just the calories you would normally intake for breakfast so sometimes go for the cereal low in calories rather than the one in high calories.

Excersise to the rescue

Do you Exercises?
Cause I no I do!
Exercise is a key to healthy living, if you do a regular workout at the gym you will be in shape in no time.
Start with the small things like walking to school or any were you go that's about ten minutes away. Aim to up your activity every day to give you an extra boost in doing exercise on a regular basis.
If your having trouble and feel you’re not doing enough, go online and check out the BBC health: fitness program I'm sure they will help you keep up to scratch with your exercise.

You can even do charity races, imagine, you running for charity. The same time you’re boosting your exercise level and raising money for your charity.

The begging to a healthy start!

Hey again, these are the steps me and my friends followed to maintain a healthy living.

Balancing food.... All the food we eat can be divided into five groups. In a healthy diet you eat the right balance of these groups.

...Fat and sugar
...Milk and dairy foods
...Meat, fish, eggs and beans
...Starchy foods
...Fruit and vegetables
Fat contains a lot of calories and eating too much of it makes us more likely to put on weight, so don't eat more of this then the others,
Keep it fatless and go for the healthy option.
Hint; eat your 5 a day fruit and veg!
This is an eat well plate, showing you what percentage of food you should eat for a healthy living.

To have a healthy life style you need to plan your meals in advance so that you don't sneak unnecessary food in once in a while.

Early Days

It all starts with you gaining information about the food you eat!

If your unhappy with the way you look then this is the right place to look, you learn about balanced diets and nutrition in food. This Blog is here to help you and be a guide in your life, to help you be the person you have always wanted to be. I am a health teacher and I have studied what children tend to eat and have recently analysed why the obesity levels in Britain have been rising over the years. Children tend to just binge eat and do not understand what they are putting in their mouth and what it is doing to their insides. However, some foods can also help your body obtain the right nutrition you need.

This blog is to help you acknowledge the foods that you eat, and what they can make of your body in years to come. And to encourage you to understand to make the right choices now rather than later and regret it fully.
